October 30, 2006. Detailed land use case study begins. A flow monitor was installed today downstream of a 700+ unit apartment complex in Huntsville, AL. The purpose of this study is to confirm or update existing per capita sewer use assumptions for this land use type. Sewer flow data will be compared to detailed demographic data, resulting in more comprehensive information to support sewer design for similar land use areas.
October 25, 2006. Sewer Sociology -- The Days of Our (Sewer) Lives was presented as a poster presentation today at WEFTEC 2006 in Dallas, TX. Both Kevin Enfinger, P.E. and Patrick Stevens, P.E. were on hand to present the poster. Many of the case studies highlighted on this website were displayed and discussed in detail. Thanks to all who stopped to visit and learn more about sewer sociology.
August 31, 2006. A new sewer sociology case study -- the Australian Open -- has been added to the Sewer Sociology technical paper and website. Special thanks are extended to Andrew Rindfleish and Peter Vogelaar for bringing the flow monitoring data from this event to our attention. Andrew and Peter are based out of the ADS office located in Sydney, Australia.
July 23, 2006. ADS Environmental Services has released an educational poster entitled Sewer Sociology. This poster is based on a larger poster presentation scheduled to appear at WEFTEC 2006 in Dallas, Texas later this year. You can request a copy using the link above.

Sewer Sociology -- The Days of Our (Sewer) Lives has been selected to be presented as a poster presentation at WEFTEC 2006 in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM.
