The New FlowAlert - Overflow Alarming with No Confined Space Entry
The new ADS FlowAlertTM is a depth-based alarm system offering an economical alternative for wastewater collection system monitoring. This new wireless alarming system features a combination float switch and depth sensor device for widespread deployment in networks requiring rapid notification and response to abnormal flow conditions.
FlowAlert utilizes two float switches to provide date-and time-stamped depth notification. An optional depth sensor logs actual depth readings for depth trending and flow calculation. The wireless communication platform instantly notifies up to three text or e-mail addresses of unusual flow conditions – low, high, and high high. The unit is housed in a rugged, yet light-weight submersible enclosure. Built into every FlowAlert is advanced circuitry that minimizes power usage, providing exceptional battery life.
FlowAlert delivers depth alarming without proprietary software. As an option, FlowAlert is also fully compatible with IntelliServe where all alarm events, event history, and logged data can be accessed and managed over the Web. When combined with RainAlert II, this even notification system can distinguish between wet and dry weather overflows, or high depth events.
